The Dan Quintet is an Orange County jazz group comprised of well established local musicians. Their music is a combination of jazz standards as well as many of the group members' original compositions and
arrangements. The quintet includes, piano, bass, trumpet and vocals, drums, and tenor and soprano saxophones.
Individually, members of the group have worked with many well known artists, such as Cab Calloway, Toni Tennille, George Van Eps, Alan Broadbent, The Tom Kubis Big Band, Ray Charles, Woody
Herman, Dick Birk, and the famous comedian George Burns. Members of the quintet have appeared at many Orange County and LA clubs, including The Dana Point Resort, Irvine Hilton, The Old Dana Point Cafe & Wine Bar, Cafe Lido, Grand Avenue Bar & Grill, Studio Cafe, Jax, Overland Cafe, and the Comeback Inn. The musicians combine their individual style, talent, and experience to create a jazz quintet of special note. |
